So what caused me to do such a ridiculas project??

You may wonder why the hell I am doing this, well I used to own a white 5spd vn commodore, which I had for only 3 months before I wrapped it around a pole. So from there I had a rather damaged vn commodore shell with an intact running gear.

From here my original theory was to find a vn rolling shell and put my motor and gearbox in it.. Seemed fairly logical as my wheels, exaust etc would just bolt straight on and it would be a fairly easy swap over. But things are harder than they seem. It was very hard to find a vn rolling shell, and after a lot of looking around in the trader and ringing various places I was about to give up and sell what I had and buy a different car.

But, things all happen for a reason I say, I decided to have a final look in the trader for a shell and I came across this little GEM!:

'1985 VK Calais, Rolling Shell, Full interior and exterior, Ready for paint, Unfinished Project - owner moving overseas, ONO $800'

So then it hit me, What about putting my motor and gearbox into a different car, instead of a VN/VP. It would be different and original! So for the next few days I did a lot of research into how hard it would be to put my gear into the vk, and well turns out. Not that hard!

So I paid him a visit and after talking him down to $600, I agreed to pick it a week later, So this is how it all started!!!
