Welcome to my page, here you will find out how I put in my v6 3.8L VN Engine into a VK. If you look to your left you find step by step information on what's involved and how I went about it all.

Updates:

23-3-04: Did my suspension and brakes last weekend, and i've updated my site to reflect this, you can find all the info in the suspension/brakes section on the left.

12-3-04: Ok ok, I know I haven't updated this site in a while, mostly due to me getting a fulltime job and not having much time to spend with the car. So what have I done recently? Well since the car getting painted. I have started getting my interior organized, The hood lining, dash, speedo and parcel shelf is all in, as well as doing a bit of engine bay detailing. I have also sworn at my digital dash a few times for being a pain in the butt and there have been a few times when I was ready to throw it at someone... Anyway enjoy, I'll be getting my brakes and suspension setup over the weekend so stay posted....

1-2-04: WHOA - Long time no update. Lots of things have been happening. The most major ones of the car has been painted! I love it. I have fitted the group 3 kit and started putting her all back together... Go to the Painted section on the left more pics...

30-12-03: OK, the car was meant to be back last week although there was personal problems and as a result the car is starting to be worked on a few days ago, and should be good for FRIDAY! I have some pics which are in the Painting section on the right....

15-12-03: Long time no update... But the car went in for paint last saturday, should be able to get it back on the 27th of December. I've also added vt sidelights to my car and a pop able fuel release unit off a vs commodore. On the left you can see info relating to that. Meanwhile here a few pics of my car before she was off to the panel beaters...

24-11-03: WIRING DONE! THE CAR STARTS!!!!!! I am over the mooon, all is going to good and to plan. I had the wiring done by a friend of mine who has wired up many a conversion before. Email me if you would like his details... There are pics in the electrics section and bit more detail about it all!

15-11-03: Finished 1 door trim... more details in the interior section. Also received my rear bar too. Pics in the Exterior section....

13-11-03: Jaws came round tonight and we did some more work. We connected all the wires for the vn engine, so that the auto elecy has minimal work to do. We were also going to bleed my brakes, but the guy who used to own my vn did the bolts up to tight and we broke the head off the nut. No biggie... as I have a spare set of calipers lying around :D We also put in the standard extractors just temporary though... In went my new Bosch Super Four spark plugs. Finally we connected up all the hoses etc, so all the auto elecy has to do is simple wiring job :) Here are some pics of where we stand so far...

11-11-03: Went shopping today and bought some interior painting gear and some vinyl for my doors. Also picked up some spare parts for my engine... I totally stripped out the rest of my interior and started painting it. Pics in the Interior Section...

10-11-03: Whoa, long time no update... Bryan helped me over the past few days with some things and I have updated and added new sections. Oh btw WIRING IS BOOKED IN TO BE DONE!!! YAY!

26-10-03: Did more work to the car, notably the gearbox mount, radiator and fuel tank.

23-10-03: Went shopping today and picked up the right gearbox mount (3rd time lucky), also got me some gauges, v8 throttle body and a new ball joint after Anthony beat the old one to a pulp.

22-10-03: Added more pics to the relevant sections

20-10-03: My VK Group 3 Grill arrived today!

17-10-03: Work on the website has commenced, which is a good thing :)

5-10-03: Started the vk conversion
