Electrics
The hardest thing about the whole conversion is the electrics side. IE mating the the vn wiring loom the the vk one. I was contacted by a friend of mine who has done the conversion before and wired it up before. So he was doing the job for me. Because the vk used 2 separate looms for the headlights and one for the engine he had to pull out all the lights etc from the vn loom.
I also had him pull out any un needed wires and mount the computer. The computer was mounted in the standard position and the loom was done. It took him a good 8 hours to wire it all up. AND SHE STARTED 1st GO!!!! I was over the moon. I won't go into detail about the wiring but if you email me I can put you into touch with the guy who did mine.
I will have more and better pics soon
